I would like to personally welcome you to the Fresno County Women Lawyers! 

As President, it is my honor to serve a second term as the President of the Fresno County Women Lawyers and address you as you embark on this enriching journey with us. Your membership signifies not only a dedication to your professional growth but also a pledge to support and uplift your fellow women in the legal profession.

I want to take this opportunity to share a bit about my personal experience as a working mother with two small children in the legal profession. As a Fresno native who recently returned to the Central Valley to be closer to family after practicing in New York City, I understand balancing the demands of a legal career with the responsibilities of motherhood can be challenging, but it is also incredibly rewarding. As women in law, we often find ourselves navigating through a maze of expectations and obligations, both professionally and personally. Through these experiences, I have learned the importance of resilience, time management, and most importantly, self-care. Remember, you are not alone in this journey, and our community is here to offer support, guidance, and empathy.

As we strive for gender equality and empowerment in the legal sector, your participation is crucial in furthering our mission. In the coming year, FCWL planned meaningful and informative MCLE luncheons, happy hours and family-friendly networking events to build a cohesive network of women supporting each other, and philanthropic events helping those in need locally. I encourage you to engage actively in our association, participate in our events, and forge meaningful connections with your peers.
